Totland Pottery

Totland Pottery was set up in 1958 at Totland Bay, Isle of Wight by Jo Lester for Kenneth A Scotcher, a pupil of his.

The mark was originally identical to the Jo mark, but with the word 'Totland' under the map. Later, when Scotcher took over the business, the pieces had his initials - KAS - inside the map in place of 'Jo'.

Ken, who never married, died around 1990 in Alton, Hampshire.
