Festersen, Friedrich
 

Friedrich Festersen was a German potter, designer and decorator. His year of birth is not known, but he died in 1916.

He is known for his schwaemmeln work - sponge decoration - and his peacock feather designs. His pottery, which he opened in 1909, was known as Friedrich Festersen's Kunsttoepferei GmbH until his death and then became Festersen's Kunsttoepferei GmbH Nachfolger. He is known to have been associated with Deutsche Werkstaetten fuer Handwerkskunst. His work from 1909 to 1916 was marked 'Festersen'.
