Tolcarne Pottery was operated by Roger Veal, a design potter, in Newlyn, Cornwall from the late 1960s to around 1980.

Roger, a Cornishman, studied at the College of Ceramics, Alfred University, New York. He has held one-man shows in London, New York and at home in Cornwall. He taught ceramics at The Cornwall Technical College, Camborne.
