Pearsons

Pearson & Co have been producing stoneware in Derbyshire since 1810 when an existing pottery was acquired by Catherine Pearson.

The company grew during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, absorbing other potteries from time to time, and adapting its production to suit the needs of the period. As well as jars, jugs and other vessels, Pearsons have also made wares for industrial purposes.

Various brand names have been used, including Kinstra, Krusta and Peanco.
