Seneshall

Seneshall was set up in Kensington Church Street, London, in 1960. They made earthenware cats.

For those who don't know, a seneshall or seneschal was the keeper of a baronial hall - a medieval mansion; he could also be a judge on the Isle of Sark. If it sounds as though I'm floundering . . . well, they don't seem to be at Kensington Church Street any more, and we don't know anything else about them . . . do you?
